Do I need dance experience to join the crew?
Nope. Zero. Zilch. If you can nod your head to a beat, you're in. Half the crew joined without ever taking a class.
Do I need to be South Indian to join?
Not at all. Rooted in South Indian music, open to everyone. Our crew is Geordie, Punjabi, Nigerian, Polish, Malayali, and everything in between.
Can you travel outside Newcastle?
Yes — we regularly perform across the North East, Yorkshire, Manchester and London. For destination weddings we'll go further. Ask us.
Do you teach wedding choreography?
It's our favourite thing. Private lessons, family sessions, or full sangeet productions. We do the planning, you do the crying happy tears.
How far in advance should I book?
For weddings — as early as possible, ideally 3-6 months. For events with 2 weeks notice, still ask. We've pulled miracles before.
What if I have two left feet?
Warning: side effects of joining may include uncontrollable dancing. Two left feet welcome. That's where the fun begins.
